I love getting the chance to meet a new baby. As a Premier Baton Rouge Maternity Newborn Photographer, I get to meet a lot of newborn babies. Each baby has their own likes and dislikes, and it’s my job to really pay attention to what they’re telling me to really get the most photos from each session. Some newborn fall straight to sleep and stay that way through their whole session. Others take a little rocking, some eating, and a diaper change to get them to sleep. All are adorable and I feel so blessed to be able to work with each and every one.

Oh sweet little baby Christian. Christian was a fussy guy at the beginning of his session, but once he get into a deep sleep he was out like a light and we just breezed straight on through.

I’m sure I’ve said this before, but I love baby wrinkles and rolls. Just check out the rolls in this little guy! I just can’t get enough of them.

Want to know a little secret? In this photo and the one above little Christian hasn’t been moved at all. It’s just a different angle. This pose from this angle is my favorite photo to take as a portrait. I usually prefer photos to be in landscape, but this one works so much better as a portrait.

Just look at those lips! I can’t get enough. This happens to be my absolute favorite photo from this session. This color is quickly becoming my favorite neutral backdrop. I used to think cream was where I needed to be, but this tan is everything.
