Sweet baby Malcolm decided that he needed to stay awake during his session. As a Baton Rouge, Louisiana newborn photographer, I decided to wrap him up to get him nice and sleepy. That certainly did the trick as he dozed right off.

He certainly didn’t mind that I was moving him around as long as he was all wrapped up. His mom was amazed at how well it worked. He snuggled right in to that nap for a nice nap. You never would have guessed he was wide awake when I arrived.

I love to get in close to get some images of the small details. I want these little details to be captured for his parents to be able to look back on as he grows older. Plus who can resist those lips and that adorable little nose? So cute!

I was really excited that I was ready for this yawn. I mean really, how can you resist the cuteness. Can you tell yet that I absolutely adore babies?
