Baton Rouge Windrush Gardens Engagement Session | Taylor + David
I know sometimes I talk about how hot it is in Baton Rouge (I’m not from around here if you can’t tell). But let me tell you when I say it was hot I mean it was HOT at Taylor and David’s Baton Rouge Windrush Gardens engagement session, it was blazing hot. Due to different schedules and having to travel to Baton Rouge, the only time we could do their session was in July. But with a great couple who took all my hot weather recommendations, it ended up looking like a beautiful spring day in their photos.
Taylor and David chose Windrush Gardens for their engagement session. If I had to choose my most popular locations that couples love for engagement sessions, Windrush Garden would definitely be in the top 3. And I totally understand why. Windrush Gardens is beautiful, lush, and green. There are so many gorgeous spots to take photos. Windrush Gardens is also HUGE. I don’t think I’ve still seen all of it even though I’ve been there many times. Located right next to Rural Life Museum (also a great for engagement photos), Windrush Gardens is not only one of my couple’s favorite engagement session locations, it’s mine as well.

It won’t be nearly as hot as Taylor and David’s Baton Rouge Windrush Gardens engagement session when it comes time for their wedding in January. I’m really looking forward to seeing them again for a much cooler wedding day.
