Downtown Baton Rouge Engagement Session | Kaitlyn + Carter
It was a beautiful and unexpectedly warm day when I met Kaitlyn and Carter by the Capitol Gardens and Arsenal Park for their downtown Baton Rouge engagement session. Weren’t they just talking about snow last week??? Anyway, the sun was out and there wasn’t a drop of the rain that was previously forecasted in sight.
The Capitol Gardens are right in front of the Louisiana State Capitol building. There were some beautiful blooming flowers along the side of the building and the gardens were full of bright green color. you’d never know it wasn’t spring by the looks of it.
Kaitlyn and Carter brought their sweet pup Ava along for some photos. I love when couples bring their dogs along for their sessions. All I ask is they bring a handler (just a friend or family member) who can help out with their pup while we’re taking photos. She did not like being too far away from us while we took photos, but she was so sweet wanted make friends with all the other dogs we passed by that day.
