Recently I had the opportunity to shoot a wedding along with Tiffany of Mia Jolie Photography at the Palo Alto Plantation in Donaldsonville, LA. Palo Alto Plantation is a beautiful quiet venue in the outskirts of Donaldonville. The grounds with the towering trees are the perfect place for an outdoor wedding.
When we arrived we found out the the groom, Taylor, had only just gotten in from his flight. The bride, Morgan, was anxious to see her future husband as she hadn’t seen him in months. They opted to not do a first look so that the first moment they saw each other after being away for so long was while Morgan was walking down the aisle. I think you can see the emotion of their reunion in the photos as they stand together ready to be married by Morgan’s brother.
Fortunately the unpredictable Louisiana rain held off until after the ceremony. Even with the rain, everyone’s spirits were high with the celebration of the couple’s wedding. There was lots of dancing and even more Louisiana inspired food. It was the perfect way to end a beautiful wedding.
Just keep scrolling to see more of Morgan and Taylor’s wedding at Palo Alto Plantation. Thanks again to Tiffany for letting me be part of this special day.
