As a Baton Rouge posed newborn photographer, I fully believe in printing your photos. They deserve to exist somewhere besides a USB, hard drive, or the internet. There are so many different ways to print photos beyond a traditional print or canvas. So I thought I’d start a series on some of the products that I offer. Sure I offer the traditional prints and canvases, but I also offer some products that you may not have heard of or seen before.
Today I’m focusing on my acrylic blocks. Acrylic blocks are perfect for desks or on your mantel. They feature a solid one inch thick acrylic layer mounted to a print. Acrylic blocks are available as a 5×7 block.
I’ve included a few photos of the acrylic blocks I offer. The lines that you see in the two of the photos are actually the print reflecting from my studio light. There are no lines in when you look at the blocks in person. The blocks are three dimensional which is what makes them so substantial and solid.
The photo below shows the thickness of the block. Because the acrylic is thick, the block itself is heavy for how small it is. The thick acrylic is also the reason they are able to stand completely on their own.
Acrylic blocks are the perfect gift for family or friends. They are also perfect to keep for yourself and place on your mantel, side table, or desk. I love these as an alternative to the traditional print in a frames.
