Recently I had the chance to photograph a rustic barn Baton Rouge wedding at the Ashley Manor Baton Rouge Wedding Venue. Fellow Baton Rouge wedding photographer, Robin Seymour of Robin Seymour Photography, had me come along to help with the guys getting ready and to help photograph the wedding ceremony and reception.
The reception was held at the beautiful Ashley Manor in Baton Rouge. The venue itself has a beautiful courtyard that’s perfect for photos, a gorgeous rustic barn for ceremonies, and a separate reception space. Located in Baton Rouge, it’s a little hidden away, so if you haven’t visited the venue itself, you may never know all that it has to offer.
I spent the beginning of the day hanging out with the groom, Donnie, and he groomsmen at a friend’s home. There was lots of laughter, excitement, and fun as the guys got ready for this big day. Then we headed off to the venue for more photos there. They couple didn’t opt for a first look, but instead had a no look first look with a prayer. It was such a sweet and beautiful moment for the couple and the bridal party.
Then it was time for the ceremony. The ceremony was short but sweet. It was time to get the party after that. There was lots of dancing, food, and fun. Almost everyone made it out onto the dance floor. The bride and groom were definitely having the time of their lives.
I had so much fun at this Ashley Manor Baton Rouge Wedding Venue. Thanks so much to Robin for letting be a part of this amazing day.
