St. Francisville Rosedown Plantation Engagement Session | Rachel + Grant
I know. I know. Didn’t I just post a St. Francisville Rosedown Plantation engagement session? I did say this was a popular spot for my couples. Moss covered trees. Gazebos and gardens. There are so many beautiful spots that are perfect for photos.
Rachel really wanted Rosedown Plantation because she wanted a location that was distinctly Louisiana. Grant told me that they also plan on having an engagement session in New York where he’s from too. I think it’s an amazing way to include a little bit about both of them for their engagement photos. Rachel and Grant met at Disney World. Talk about the most magical place on earth. He was a professional intern and she was in the college program. They did the long-distance thing until Grant was able to move down to Louisiana.
Rachel wanted to include a little picnic in their photos. So we set up a cute scene with a blanket, picnic basket, champagne, and flowers. I love when couples want to include props, something sentimental, or their pets to really show more of who they are in their photos. It makes their engagement session unique to them.
Below is a highlight film I made for Rachel and Grant as well as some of my favorite photos from Rachel and Grant’s Rosedown Plantation engagement session.
Rachel and Grant were so much fun to hang out with at their St. Francisville Rosedown Plantation engagement session and I’m excited about their summer wedding next year.
