The Gatehouse Baton Rouge Wedding | Vee + Landry
Vee and Landry’s The Gatehouse Baton Rouge wedding was another wedding that had to be moved due to the pandemic. Their spring wedding turned into a June wedding. But that didn’t stop them from enjoying the day and even have personalized masks made with their names and wedding date.
I was really excited to get to photograph a wedding at The Gatehouse. That’s where I had my formal ceremony 5 years ago. It’s just as beautiful as I remembered. They have a beautiful gazebo to get married in front of that surrounded by gardens with a small bridge and waterfall. It’s the perfect place for photos.
The ceremony took place right in front of the gazebo which they added purple florals to match their wedding colors. Vee wore a cape with purple floral details and her bridesmaids wore tiara’s reminiscent of Sailor Moon’s tiara. Vee’s dress even had POCKETS! I’m pretty sure any dress becomes ten times more awesome when it has pockets, but a wedding dress is even better.
I got to find out how happy and joyous Vee and Landry when I first met them at their engagement session. This day was no different. The ceremony was filled with lots of laughter and even a few tears. Happy tears of course. They even had family and friends join in on the special dances. I thought it was amazing that they had everyone they love to come out and dance with them.
Below are some of my favorite from the day. So scroll through and take a look at Vee and Landry’s The Gatehouse Baton Rouge wedding.

I’m so thankful I got to spend the day with Vee and Landry along with their friends and family. It may have been later than originally planned, but it was still filled with love and joy.
