As a Posed Baton Rouge, LA newborn photographer, I see a lot of babies. As a traveling photographer, I see a lot of people in their own homes. So in today’s blog post, I thought I’d write about the rules of having a session with me. Pssssttt…. don’t worry. They aren’t really any rules. Just read on to find out more…
Don’t worry about the state of your home.
You just had a baby. There is a tiny human completely dependent on you. So I totally get that your house isn’t in its usual condition. And it honestly doesn’t bother me. I won’t judge you at all. Promise. As long as I can find a space to work in I’m fine. And trust me, I’m a master at finding a space that works.
Don’t worry if your baby is awake or fussy.
Babies work on their own schedule. That don’t care if we’re trying to get them to take adorable sleepy pictures of them. I have several tricks to get them to sleep. And even if that doesn’t work, I can still take some cute awake photos.
Don’t worry if I get peed or pooped on.
Pee and poop come with the territory. Plus I’ve got three kids of my own. It won’t be the first or the last time a baby has peed or pooped on me. I also wear clothes that I don’t mind getting dirty to a session for that reason.
And the most important rule of all?
I know you’re tired. So sit back, relax, and let me snuggle and pose your sweet new baby for a few hours. I watch your baby’s cues so I know when they need a new diaper or to eat. So nothing to worry about.
So there you have it. The “rules” of having a newborn session with Isabelle Rose Photography, Posed Baton Rouge, LA newborn photographer. If you’d like more information about a session with me or would like to book, click HERE or email me at [email protected].
